Harry s Law
Harry’s Law is an American legal comedy-drama television series created by David E. Kelley. On May 14, 2010, NBC officially announced that it was picking up the series, which is currently planned as a 2010–11 midseason replacement. After a six week new episode layoff, NBC’s Chuck returns with a new episode tonight (and as Robert noted, our site traffic returns tomorrow morning).
Monday (Nov. 15) announcement offers plenty of food for though, including a risky attempt to schedule a 10 p.m. comedy bloc — you’d have to go back nearly two decades to see the last time a network attempted that — and premieres for “Perfect Couples,” “Harry’s Law,” “The Cape” and “America’s Next Great Restaurant” and the returns of “Parks & Recreation,” Chuck faces new episode competition on broadcast (except for the CW), although ABC has The Bachelor instead of Dancing with the Stars.
On cable, Monday Night Football is absent for the rest of the television season. Chuck drew adults 18-49 ratings of 1.8, 1.7, and 2.0 in its last three original episodes. Harriet “Harry” Korn doesn’t believe things happen for a reason, but she discovers that they sometimes do.
A curmudgeonly ex-patent lawyer, Harry is abruptly fired from her blue chip law firm, forcing her to search for a fresh start. She finds it when her world unexpectedly collides, literally, with Malcolm Davies a kind-hearted college student who desperately needs Harry’s help with his pending court case, and he subsequently goes to work for her.
