Current weather conditions in the Milwaukee-Chicago area have interrupted the travel schedule of keynote speaker Will Allen, according to university spokesman Perry Richardson.Allen is an urban gardener and co-director of Growing Power, an urban garden and community food center in Milwaukee.The NWS issued a weather advisory between early Monday morning and Wednesday, and predicted the storm will come in two waves.The first and lighter round of precipitation, between early Monday morning and Tuesday morning, will drop between 4-6 inches of snow.

The weather service said the heavy snowfall combined with high winds could create whiteout conditions, particularly on Tuesday night into Wednesday, making driving extremely dangerous in some areas. Snow drifts of 5-10 feet are possible.Winter Weather Advisories 9am to 3pm Tuesday for Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Washington, Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties. The Advisory is in effect from 3pm to 3pm Tuesday for Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Waukesha, Jefferson and Walworth counties. Snow totals in our north counties will be 4-7 and likely 3-6″ in the south counties.
