Miss America 2011:Latest update news about miss america 2011:This is the first time in five years that the pageant has been broadcasted on ABC.  In past years, the show has aired on CMT and TLC.  Judges include Joy Behar, a former Miss America, Debbye Turner Bell and fitness guru Marilu Henner.The show will be competing with the NFL’s Green Bay vs. Atlanta which airs tonight at 8 on FOX.

This year’s show, presented by Resorts, will feature a 1920′s theme entitled “Boardwalk Empress,” a spoof on the HBO series  Boardwalk Empire, and will be hosted by award-winning comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer, who takes over for Carson Kressley as this year’s M.C. Also, the show will once again be written, directed, and at times co-hosted by the ever-so-talented Robert “Sandy Beach” Hitchen.
