This South Pacific — amazingly, the show’s first Broadway revival — also is a restoration, bringing back full luster, freshness and immediacy to a work that had come to be taken for granted through familiarity and too many middling staging.

Lincoln Center’s Tony Award-winning revival of the Rodgers and Hammerstein classic “South Pacific” stars Kelli O’Hara as Navy nurse Nellie Forbush and Tony winner Paulo Szot as the dashing French planter Emile De Becque.
